I've just purchased a 2004 XJ8 4.2 for my wife's daily commute to and from work. We live in Florida about 45 miles west of Gainesville (Go Gators) and are trying to enjoy semi-retirement. Or at least I am<G><G>

As any new owner I have a few questions to ask and am seeking some time and money saving guidance. I also am a rotten typist so forgive me in advance will-ya.

Welcome to the forum RDMinor,

You've come to the right place for help with maintaining your XJ8.

Follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section for help, advice and information. If you're new to this model, the 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

I know you're new here and are probably trying to find your way around, but you may want to post your question in the XJ40 section. Follow this link or go back to the main menu and scroll down to Jaguar Models under which you will find the XJ40 thread. Good luck getting your car sorted.
