Evening all. Feels odd to be new person on a forum again...

I'm Adam from London, UK and I've signed up after doing a fair bit of googling into problems with my Dads X300. Hoping to get this sorted for him - hopefully as a sort of surprise and having had a look about here it seems a very usefull resource.

My car background is sadly French hatchbacks and although I would love an X300 at the moment I'm commuting 500 miles a week and can't afford the petrol I'm fairly competant at pulling old Peugeots apart and sticking them back together so that they work and having had a fiddle with the Jag it looks a lot more user friendly than I'm used to! I'm willing to get stuck in and DIY which is primarily why I'm here... Unless I start flicking through the "Cars for sale"

Anyway, too much waffle

Hello Adam and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules.

Be patient and enjoy the site.

Welcome Adam and I reiterate whats already been said. Great forum, very helpful and knowledgeable members and a willingness to help. Why not put up a post of the car in question, specific details of the most pressing issues. Many are common and recurring and will be dealt with easily, and once you start to tick them off, it's a great source of encouragement to continue. As Michael Jackson sang " You are not alone........."
