I just joined the forum from here in Flagstaff, Arizona. I've owned a 1953 XK120 OTS for about 15 years - it was purchased new by my father-in-law. I recently bought a 1983 SIII XJ6 saloon, which I am repairing piece by piece (mostly electrical). I love the 120 but at my age, about 3 hours is all I can take in the car and still stand up (or even get out). Hence the XJ6 for longer trips. I had previously owned a 1977 XJ6 back in the early eighties in the UK and loved it - the "new" one rides beautifully but due to CA emissions is somewhat slower off the mark.
