Default new xk owner in nyc

Got a 2008 XK (XK60 package) from Rosenthal Jag down in Virginia.

I'm curious if anyone else in the states has the XK60 package.

Only issues I've had with the car thus far is that the tire pressure monitoring system will periodically say there's a system fault on the dash--and then go away. Any idea what this could be? The local dealer says they couldn't find anything.

Secondly, the glovebox door is banging down rather than opening gently. Thanks to this forum I found a recall related to this so I'm taking the car to Jag White Plains to have it fixed presently.

Welcome to the forum Dylan,

I see you've found your way to the XK section. Good to hear you've already had some help.

Hope your luck holds out with no front licence plate!

Let's see some pics.

Graham

Welcome to the forum.

Good to see you.

Don't know anything about the TPMS, but I have seen it mentioned around the place.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
I think the XF's were suffering from TPMS problems, you could take a look there.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Good suggestion, thanks. Whatever it is, it's clearly not registering as a fault in the ECU since the dealer found nothing...so I'm wondering if it's simply a sensor at one of the wheels somehow getting dislodged--it has happened a couple times while going over bumps in the road.
