New XK8 owner!

Hi All!

I just upgraded from a Mercedes to my 98 XK8!
Loving every minute of it.
I already used the forum to solve a few nagging problems, like the trunk lights not working, broken visor covers, etc.

Looking forward to being part of this community!

Welcome, Cary. What was the trunk light fix? My XJ8 is intermittent and I haven't had a chance to look at it. Great car by the way. if I didn't need 4 doors I would have bought an XK8 myself.

For the trunk light it was the microswitch in the trunk latch. Pretty easy to replace and mine was about $42 at the dealer. It fixed the trunk lights and the "trunk open" warning on the dash.
