Just a quick note to say "hi". I'm new to this forum. Actually stumbled on to it when doing a google search for a wiper problem I had.

I have a 2003 XJ8 with 47500 miles and located in Ottawa Canada. Only mod is a K&N cone filter for airbox. Great car for long distance driving - drove it from Pasadena to Ottawa in 2008.

Fixed the wiper problem - it was the infamous run/stop relay but complicated by a blown fuse. Am now on 3rd run/stop relay in 2.5 years.

Look forward to learning more about these cars from this forum.

Thanks Jim. I see you are also a VAG fan. My other car is an Audi S6 model year 1996 - inline 5 cylinder turbo with close to 300hps.
I'm also a Brit ex-pat.
