Hi all,

I am a new member, having just registered.

I have a 2002 XK8, in Black with Oatmeal leather. The car is fabulous, and I have a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I have found this forum very useful as a casual observer, and it has saved me a lot of money - passenger seat recline issues anyone!

I look forward to many tales of joy and woe from fellow enthusiasts of the cat....

Al

Hello Al and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

Thanks all,

Have had very good reason to be happy I joined in again today.....

My battery died overnight, so once I had gotten into the car (!), and charged the battery, I then had no idea why my windows were not closing, and were dropping when I used the doorhandles....

Who knew you had to reset the windows!!!! - I know you guys all did, and now I do :-)

Cheers - Al
