Default Newbie to the Jaguar Marque

Hi everyone. I'm just new to Jaguar. I purchased a 2000 S in sapphire blue and ivory for my wife in March when she came out of a lease. I found myselfdriving it whenever she wasn't using it (instead of my 2005 300C Hemi). I have owned several imports including Peugeot, Renault, Audi, Toyota, andAcura. I was tired of the poor quality of materials used on the domestics I had owned and the S reminded me of the difference. I began a search for something a little larger and discovered the XJ. I found a great deal on a black 2004 in September, sold my Chrysler and just bought an extended warranty for the XJ to cover it when it's factory warranty expires in 4,000 more miles. The difference in quality is so great between the cars that I don't even miss the extra 50 HP!!! What a beautiful machine.

Congrats on the S and the XJ...but just one question. Are you saying that the S-type is of good quality or poor quality?

Both cars are in excellent condition! The S is identical to the one on the cover of the 2000 S brochure with the same interior featured within. It has the nicer sport alloy wheels and actually looks better than several newer models I have parked it next to at the dealer. It's only flaws are a slightly worn drivers seat and crinkled paint on the left rear bumper which I intend to have repaired . Otherwise the body and iterior are flawless, as us the case with the XJ8. I'll post better pix once I get the hang of it.
