Default Newbie from Northern Ireland :)

Hello all, hope all is well with you... my name is Si and i live in Carrickfergus just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland.

So, having been a serial VW nut since i was 7 years old ( now 34 ), and have helped start and run the VW clubs here in Northern Ireland since 1996, i currently have a wee VW collection sitting... here are a few.....

1991 Mk2 GTI 8V

1992 Mk2 G60

1996 Mk3 1.4SE ( only 9k, family owned from new )

Also have a very rare 1981 Jurgen Autovilla Campervan..... Bert, which i love....

as well as a Mk1 GTI Golf we race, another wee Mk2 Golf and a 1999 Vauxhall Omega ( dad bought new, now with only 50,000 miles on the clock. )

So with my dad having Jag in his blood, owning a stunning Mk2 3.4 in BRG back in the day, and now having an '07 S-Type 2.7D SE Hi-Lux ( I found it for him under a year old... and ex-Jaguar Coventry owned car!!!!! ) it was only a matter of time before i got one myself ( having already built a show winning X-Type XS LE on XJR Rims two years ago )

So here is my latest steed.... my 2005 S-Type 2.7D... an ex-demo vehicle with over £6K of optional extras, full STR spec black leather and in rare Zircon blue.... My Omega and Golf in the background of one pic, and Dads S-Type in another....

My S is about to go into the workshop next week for another new cat ( boo ), full service including chain and rear diff oil, then getting lowered in preparation for wheels i am still deciding on, and into the bodyshop in 3 weeks for a respray... ( same colour )

Already, thankyou for the information and knowledge i have gained off reading this forum, and look forward to chatting to you all over time

Many thanks and regards

Si

Welcome to the forum, Si. That's quite a collection you've got. I envy your storage space.

Welcome to the forum Si,

Wow, an impressive collection to be sure.

I'll look forward to seeing your progress with the Jag in the S section.
