Newby Looking For XJ8 Purchace Tips
Hello Jag People,
I don't own a Jag now but I have had sevaral in the past including a 72 XKE, 75 XJ12, 77 XJ6 coup, 72 XJ6 and an 86 XJS. Anyway I'm thinking about getting back into a Jag, say an 06 or 08 XJ8. I have been away from the Jag scene for about 10 years now and it's a pretty steep learning curve.
The 06 and 07s are coming off lease now and I think they are in my price range of about $30K. So the question is, what tips and advice do you have on things to aviod and features to get? We are seeing a few low milage XJ8s coming out of NY auctions and being sold by local dealers.
I plan to pull the trigger in about 90 days on a nice Florida car and I would sure like to avoid a blunder.
