Hey Folks, wanted to do the intro thing. I was a member 6-7 years ago. So far we have had, in order a '77 lump, a 97 XJ6 and an 03 X-type. We sold the XJ6 because we had twin baby girls and the car seats were taking their toll on the interior. We replaced it with an 03 Expedition affectionately known as the bus (now my daily driver). So now 6 years later the girls are close to teenagers (oh joy) and we are the proud owners of an 01 XJR. What a car, cruise in pampered luxury, then click the sport button ... push the shifter to the manual side ... turn off the traction control and melt 400.00 worth of tires if you choose. My wife drives it 95% of the time as she really missed her XJ6. She commented that it didn't seem all that much faster than the XJ6 and couldn't understand my search for the "Supercharger" I have since taken her for a ride "Supercharger" style and made a believer out of her. I've got an airbag issue but I'll post that in the other forum. Love this place and the wealth of info it provides. So Hello!
