Hi! Stopped by to introduce myself. I live in northern Vermont on the border ( about 70 miles from Montreal). Owned a parts business for 25 years, retired and then returned to work in Sales. I just bought a 2001 Jaguar XK-8 convertible, Roman Bronze with 36K miles. This is Jag number 8. Happy to be here! Philip
Cheers and welcome, Philip!
Nice choice for Jaguar no. 8, those are stunning cars. Very beautiful.
Jaguar Forums has really helped my knowledge of the car, and
reassured me that many more fellow enthusiasts are out there!
Can't wait to see some pictures of the XK8.
Once you make about 9 more posts, or after 3 days,
you can upload some pictures of the Jag. I can't wait to
see them!
(unless our fearless leader, JimC64, swings by, in which case you
can gain these full permissions in advance!)
Cheers and Welcome, Ian

Hi Philip, we're on the 'other side' of the friendly border just outside of Montreal (for now). Welcome to the site, lots of great folks here. We used to go camping at the State Park on Lake Carmi, many great memories.
Eight Jags? I'm jealous!

Mikey and others, Thanks for the welcome. Mikey, my land was part of the original farm from which the Lake Carmi State Park was created. I am right behind the State Park on a high plateau overlooking the lake. Small World indeed. Phil

If you were ever disturbed in the early 70s by a bunch of noisy kids on Norton and Triumph bikes ripping up and down the access road, one of them was me. Sorry about that, I've matured slightly since then.
