A quick hello
Hi everyone, just found this site
I am a Swedish Jaguar Enthusiast. Currently I own a XJ6 4.0 LWB from 1997, previously I have tried the XJ6 Series III (-85), XJ40 1st generation (-89) and a XJ6 Series 1 with the small 2.8 liter XK-engine and manual transmisson with overdrive.
All lovely cars with their pros and cons

Welcome,
I didn't know the XJ6 2.8 Series One turned up anywhere apart from the UK. They had a reputation for cooking pistons if pushed hard.
The 97 is a good model. You'll find plenty of help and advice on the XJ X300 / XJR section.
