Hello all.

My name is Jeff. I'm from Buffalo, New York, USA and I am a Subaru addict. I've had 8, in fact.

However, I decided a few days ago that it's time to automotively grow up (a bit at least, I've still got an old Subaru Impreza coupe for rallycross and iceracing purposes). So I bought a 2004 X-Type 3.0 AWD. Metallic Gray on black leather.

The Jag should certainly provide a bit more style and comfort on my daily 50+ mile commute.

I look forward to learning from the community here. I was very excited to find this resource, as I'll certainly need the help with Jag knowledge. On the other hand, if anyone ever has a Subaru question (doubtful I know), I'm probably your guy.

Hi Jeff - welcome to the forum!! You picked a great car for the long commute in Buffalo weather, she'll treat you good. A good set of winter snow/ice tires and that sucker will be unstoppable.

The X Type forum has tons and tons of knowledge, so ask away.

Certainly wouldn't mind seeing some pics of your Subie set up for rallycross and ice racing either - pretty cool!!

Again, welcome and keep posting to get your post count up and that will allow you to full access to the site (pic posting, etc).

Check into the X Type section you'll meet some great folk.

My BIL has had Scoobies as his 'company' cars, snag is, his have those pesky blue lights on top.
