Just wanted to say hello. I've got a 1988 XJ6 and I'm currently working through all the typical problems: turn signals, electrical gremblins, brake issues. This forum has been very helpful. Bought the car on a lark, as I've always owned Toyotas but I think I will keep it.

The forum has already been of great help to me. A brief side note in one of the threads suggested low hydraulic fluid effecting brake performance. Per that comment, I resolved the brake issue by putting in hydraulic fluid. A previous owner converted the suspension to a conventional one (I think), so I did not make the connection between the brake booster and the low hydraulic fluid.

As for the taillights, the brake and the turn signal would not work at the same time. Per the lights advice thread, I went through and resoldered all of the points along the bridge on both side, and that has resolved that issue as well.

Up next is a rebuild and repair of the passenger side blower and putting in new rear wheel bearings. I bought the car for $1k, so I cannot really complain about all the little quirks.
