Default Saying hello from Victoria, British Columbia

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a few months and I figured it was high time to join the forum.

I'm sure my story is not unique. Ever since I was a lad I've always wanted to own a Jag. They always turned my head whenever I saw one - stationary or moving.

Last June the stars aligned and I was able to purchase a 2000 XJ8 with 67,000 miles on the odometer for a very good price. About 2,250 miles and $1,500 later including replacing the ABS sensor module, some new ball joints, a tie rod, and a replacement differential seal, I have pretty much have the XJ8 running like a top. I just need to have the fenders repainted and some other touch-ups done due to some chips and light scratches, fix some lighting issues (interior climate control and fog lamps), a good detailing job, and I'll have a really nice car.

I look forward to getting to know forums members and chime-in when I can, but I just want to thank everyone for the help and advice you’ve given me thus far.

Cheers,

Ben

Welcome Ben. Seems like this forum has been recently discovered in BC, judging by the number of new members. Keep spreading the news.
