Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question....but I am looking at a used 2008 Jaguar that is not a Select Edition (although it is being offered by a Jaguar dealer). They said that they prefer to sell the Platinum extended warranty by SGI instead of the Select Edition because it is better than the Select Edition. SGI Services (Spikes Group, Inc.) Creating Success through Quality Service...

SGI Platinum Extended Warranty adds 4 years to factory 4 year warranty, or up to 100,000 miles. Cost $3,500.

They said the Select Edition warranty is $2,500.

Any experience with SGI or thoughts on going with the SGI vs. Select Edition warranty???
