Tim from Augusta Ga.
Another newbee to this forum. This is my 2nd jag. My first experience was not good w/t a 94 sj6. I now have a 98 xj8 but can't figure out some of the buttons and bluetooth and do not have a owners manual
Can anybody direct me anywhere to get some info on interior components and buttons?
Thanks.
I also would like any info on the 98 xj8 verses the xj6 and if they may have some similar problems such as pot metal door handles that break like eggshells
and rear end, and a/c problems.
Thanks for any input.

Greetings Tim:
It always saddens me to hear of disapointments with owning Jags. I have had Jags and been around them for near 35 years and suffered my share of troubles but nothing that couldn't be put down to ageing cars or neglect, or natural wear and tear.
It is good you have given them another chance though. The 308 (your current car) is less DIY friendly than the X300 (your former XJ6) which really should have been a very good car in fact, so sorry to hear you got a bad one.
Do remember though you have a high end car but it is OVER ten years old now!
Give it some slack and keep perspective, keep up with maintenance, find a mechanic who knows Jag's WELL then enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
I do hope that this one is a happy union!
Cheers and welcome
