Recently purchased a 2006 Jaguar S-Type 3.0. Love it but the check engine light came one recently. The code is: p240c - EVaporazation Emissions System Leak Detection Pump Heater Circuit High. Can't find anything on that code. No possible causes or fixes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Tom:
Welcome to the forum and greetings from the Midwest Region. Lots of folks around here from Michigan. I'm sure the guys in the s-type section will be able to help you with that code. Happy to have you here!

Welcome to the forum Tom,

Sorry to hear about the issue with the S-Type.

That's an unusual DTC code format. Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues but starting a thread about the code with as much other detail you can add is the best way to get answers on this one.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-west-us-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.
