Default Heat Problem

Hi Cliff,

Got your message. I can't guarantee that yours is the thermostat, but it does sound a similar problem to mine. I'd try replacing it first for the $10 the part will cost you and the hour or so it'll take to change it. The heater control valve is a really tough job!! (and $150 for the part) About 5 hours (at least if the hoses were as difficult to free as mine were).

Good Luck!
