I am working on my buddies car so he doesn't make it any worse than he already has. He ran it down to a quart of oil on a sub 50k motor. luckily for him he has the cash to turn this daily driver into a toy. From what I've seen on this forum you can pull out that 2.5 and drop in a 3.0 with few mods. I will be starting on this project in about two weeks. I've seen that someone on this forum has already done that conversion and documented it on this site. Can anyone point me in that persons direction? Additionally I"m wondering what it would take to supercharge this sombitch?

X-Type section will have what you need. Although I'm not really sure it is a worthwhile project but hey, that's his call. I don't know of anyone who has slapped a blower on an X-Type, and if they did, the transmission and/or transfer case would throw up in a matter of minutes most likely. Not a good basis for a hi-po toy at all.
