Just bought my 1st Jag. A 1993 XJ6 with just 87,000 miles on the clock. Always wanted a Jag, just never had the opportunity to get one. My father had a hood emblem off a 60's Jag on the shelf back home that I played with as a kid and that put the brand front & center of my mind. I really wanted a series 3, but the examples I could afford were just a bit too far gone for me to save. I do all mechanical work myself except for a/c as I don't have the tools to repair that. Which is ironic really as the only major fault with my Jag is the a/c! Looks to me like the compressor isn't turning. Oh well!

I'm from England. Migrated out here in 1995. Still very much a limey bloke though. My nickname with all my friends is "English". I'm looking forward to getting my new addition into show car status, or as near as I can get it.

Love to hear about the god, the bad and the ugly about my Jag. Only had her a day and despite the incredible humidity here in Maryland right now, I'm totally enjoying the Jaguar experience.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
