Cool xkr (My2007)

Hi All
I am proud to own a XKR with 24k on the clock. Silver Black interior . I have just removed the fuse for the rear mast. I cut the main feed went to Maplins bought a connection block and FM wire designed for home Hi-fi. I routed this Cable (aerial) through, side panel above battery in a "T" shape and joined it to the main feed . FM works fine now as does AM and SAT nav functions all for less then Ten pounds . leaving mast in place for now in retracted position.

Best car I have ever owned and driven

I Live in mid Cheshire UK.

Good site

Gary

Welcome to the forum.

Good to have you with us.

Not bad that a Holiday Camp can fix FM radio.

As a kid, spent many weekends at Jodrell Bank.

Welcome to this friendly forum from another XKR owner.
Don't forget to put your car's details in with your signature so the experts can help you best when it goes wrong.
I like the aerial fix - sadly the only radio worth listening to in France is BBC R4 on LW which the Eiffel Tower on the back is very good at picking up - until Aunty Beeb's last transmitting valve burns out and LW gets shut down.
