Talking YO!!

HI I am a 25 year old father of 1. My name is ACE and my father in law recently GAVE me a perfect body of a Mark VII . The engine doesnt run and I am working on redoing the interior. I dont necessarily have the money to restore it all back to original so I am going the american way and most likely will frankenstein the car keeping the body the same but probably finding an engine that will fit. If anyone knows which engine will drop in perfectly that would be appreciated.. I love classics and lead sleds. I wanted to sort of take it the hot rod route and do my own thing with it. I have family that rebuilds classics and hot rods so any chopping or refabbing wont be a problem. sorry if i offend the Jaguar enthusiasts that believe in keeping it original.... But I plan on making it my style.

Hey there and welcome to the site, great to have you here with us.
As you say there'll be a few purists who won't agree but there's been a few here on the forum who have posted up similar stories.

Be sure you're welcome here as a car enthusiast and if we can help we will I'm sure.

Loads going on, plenty of very friendly and helpful members as well as some excellent tech advice......all good!

In the meantime I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view the site

Hello Ace and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
