Hi All,
I have a 75 Daimler Coupe which the fuel tanks have had there day and need to be repaired / replaced. I was thinking about installing a single XJ40 fuel tank.
There seams to be plenty of room in the boot. Only problem I see is the boot lid hinges are rather large and would get in the way of the tank fill tube.
Has anyone done this conversion?

Your help would be very much appreciated.

If it was a four door, I'd be thinking along the same lines but with one of the rarest, most desireable of the XJ series, originality is critical to value.

Anyone who has done a tank change is likely to follow the Model forum rather than the Region forum.
