has anyone had a problem with transmission issues. I have 1998 jaguar vanden plas, its drives in reverse normal but will not shift when driving forward. it still drives with power but does not shift. I have told its transmission modulator chip and or needs a transmission. I believe it may expensive for labor but the part itself is small sensor or modulator inside the transmission.

 

anyone with import car jaguar experience; what you think i'm in for???
