1991 XJ6 VDP For Sale, Low miles - 88K
1991 Jaguar XJ6 Vander Plas, 88,XXX miles
The Good:
Two-owner car
Garaged it’s entire life
Low, low original miles
Cold a/c professionally converted to R134a
Trunk mounted Jaguar 6 Disc CD changer
Power, heated seats work perfectly
Power windows and sunroof work, no leaks
New Kumho tires – less than 1,000 miles on them
New coil, distributor cap & rotor button
Newer battery (Jan. 2010)
Rebuilt rear brake calipers
Original window sticker
Extensive service records
The Bad:
Central locking is non-functional, however, all doors lock and unlock manually
Trunk can only be opened from inside the car using the remote release in the glovebox
Gas gauge does not work, hasn’t since I owned it, I use the “fuel used” function on the trip computer to know when to fill up, and I’ve never run out of gas
Passenger side door handles are non-functional from the outside, a common failure for this body style Jaguar, doors work fine from the inside, easy fix if you’re a DIY’er, I’ve just never taken the time
Something in the electrical system drains the battery when the car is not driven for an extended period of time (10+ days). I keep a trickle charger on it and have had no problems
The Ugly:
Original Jet Black paint shows slight fading on the hood and trunk, and some crazing at the back of the roof
Some rust showing inside both front inner fenderwells and at front edge of driver’s side rocker panel

Asking $3,500, Will consider any reasonable offer
