FS[Central US]: 2003 XK8 Convertible
The odometer is almost to 125,000 miles and I'm responsible for 95,000 of them over the last 7 years. Not only has this XK8 consistently provided fun and reliable transportation, it gets pretty decent gas mileage, too. In my normal drive to and from work with local errands I average a touch over 22 mpg. I've gotten as much as 29.8 on a drive to the east coast, with 25 or so easily achievable on the highway. I didn't buy it as a Prius substitute, but decent mileage is a nice bonus. I'm selling it because I bought an XKR.
The car is Topaz with Cashmere interior. It has the standard 18” Centaur aluminum wheels.
I have not modified the car and have kept up with maintenance over the years. I am the third owner and on my watch it has always been serviced with synthetic oil at the manufacturer's recommended interval. To hit the high spots, I’ve replaced the covering on the A posts and header panel, had the leather touched up, replaced plugs and a couple ignition coils, replaced the valve cover gaskets, and recently replaced all of the heater and cooling hoses. Another notable item was replacement of the convertible top latch hoses.
The nose and leading edge of the hood have tiny chips in the paint from highway driving. The left quarter panel has two small door dings. The car runs great and drives well, though it could probably use an alignment. The front tires are about a year old and the rear ones are about due.
Asking price $10,250

This car is still available. Continental rear tires have some life left in them. Front end alignment has been done and new rear shock bushings mean no more "clunk" sounds when you hit a bump.
