A "thoughtless character" (toned down about five notches from what I called him initially) decided to cause a wreck in front of me and spray glass all over my 2004 XJ8, ruining the grill and badly scuffing the hood.

I'm pretty good with a buffer and touch up paint, so I'm not too worried about the hood. The grille, however...ouch. Like $400 on eBay for used? Really?

Can anyone here throw me a bone? I would love the Daimler grille but it's probably a wee bit out of my price range. So the stock grille would be fine.

(EDIT - I've attached he damage from the accident. The grill doesn't look too bad in the pictures, but that chrome plastic can't be repaired).

I changed mine out and kept the old original grill, it may match.

 

I will have one available soon. Aka when I swap out my other one.
