For Sale 5.3 V12, and auto Transmission from an 89 Jaguar XJ-S. I purchased a "parts car" for my 89 XJ-S, as it had an engine fire. Which also burnt my car under the dash. I'am lumping my XJ-S, (installing a non Jaguar engine) so therefore I don't need the drive train. I have attached a video of the engine running, it's missing a little, and I would assume, it needs a good tuneup. In the video, I included dropping it in gear, and showing it moves forward and backward. The trans fluid is clear, and red, so I believe the trans is in good shape also. The Man I bought it from(Dave) had stopped driving it to do a full restoration, as the car is very rusty. Dave had a stroke soon after, which changed his life dramatically. He moved the car around the yard for a couple years, and then it wouldn't start. Figuring it ran out of gas, he put some in it, but never got it to start. (the tank had rusted out, so any he added ran out on the ground) Dave then suffered a second stroke, which he's still recovering from. I brought it home and spent a couple weeks tracing down a broken wire to the distributor and got it to run. I put more gas in it, and found the tank rusted out.
