I believe my 99 xj8 is missing some black plastic underbody pieces in the front and the RH front side(wheel well?). I am also missing the washer fluid tank and have a broken RH foglight. How expensive would it be to get these items? If you have them, let me know how much. Thanks

I was missing the splash pan under the front bumper and each of the fender liners needed replacement since the leading edge was then blown into the tires and ground down. I bought the splash shield from rockauto for about $40 and then picked up two fender liners on different auctions on ebay for about $30 each. The splash pan had to be jury rigged as the tabs on the bumper were missing in most places for the mounts so I just drilled new holes and used zip ties instead of the plastic rivets. As to the washer fluid bottle, check around on ebay or one of the vendors on the site, you should be able to find one pretty cheap. I had to replace my RH fog light as well as the lens was broken out, I found a guy on the forum with one for sale, brand new, cost was about $75. My guess is about $200 and you are back to normal!

 

Cool. Sounds like you have almost all the same problems I have. I just replaced my alternator and decided it may have went early from dirty water getting splashed on it. Thanks man. I am going to check out rockauto right now. I didnt expect them to have any jag parts, lol
