I will soon be doing the tensioner upgrade (using the 3rd generation type) to my '98 VDP. Current mileage is 82,228 and it seems to run fine, without any rattles or warning sounds. The inspection results from the Jag Garage I took it to says evidence of 'cracked guides' and 'tensioners' but I cannot confirm this statement personally and I have not done business with them before. I will do it anyway (with my mechanic) to avoid future mishaps. I know it is probably best to install the 'complete kit' including chains and all the tensioners, but is it statistically necessary to replace everything to avoid engine failure, or will it be 'recommended or safe' to just replace the 'crucial parts' (economical reasons - not ignorance). If so, which are the crucial parts you recommend, and at what price can you offer them for as well as the price for the complete kit? This is my first entry, thanks in advance. (98_vdp)

Hey Hey Jag_Genius; I am looking for the wood armrest door inserts for my 2007 XKR convertible; have seen them on several cars. They are the small curved pieces tha fit on the door arm rests toward the front.
There is actually a void on each side, or template if you will, that is made for the wood to fit nicely into place.

need an updated nav disc for 2005 X-type
msg me on anything you want ..from jaguar ...good prices.. about 40-50 % cheaper then the dealer sells things for... and they are all genuine jaguar parts from jaguar... so tell me what you need and ill get you a price . include year, model, and part and engine size.

2003 X-type 3.0
I am looking for A/C condenser, windshield wiper fluid pump, wood grain steering wheel w/sable leather and control hook ups(I have the buttons, air bag, and center cover), both headlight assemblies, coolant reservoir tank, and white touch up paint for 2003 X-type 3.0

Need a 2006 XKR navigation disc. They seem to be as rare as honest politicians
Be more than happy to pay for any version of the disc....Original, backup, one that can change the digital clock to a Spongebob & Patrick display would be heralded by my 4 yr old as a technological breakthrough
