Had the wrong pads sent to me for the rear of an X type. My 05 has the earlier style pads so I have some 05- pads they didn't want back. They're ceramic evolution pads (about $40 retail value. You can have 'em for shipping, otherwise come Monday they go in the trash. Just pm me if you want 'em. My guess you'd be looking at 8-10 shipped. Very nice quite pad with solid bite and NO real brake dust issues.

Freaking brilliant moderation... put it where no one really looks for brake pads for their individual model. They're now in the trash thanks to h20boy. Sorry folks! Figured somone could use them but I'm tired of seeing them take up space but not willing to wait any longer.

 

There are forum rules for a reason.

Also, where do you live? in a tree house? How do two brake pads take up space?

 

1. I wasn't selling them so it isn't a for sale classified.
2. My garage is 2 stories 11x19 and houses 2 motorcycles, 2 scooters, a TVR, fridge, air compressors, residential oven for powder coating a sailboat, all my spare parts, for 3 cars and 3 trailers and last but not least a 1500lbs lift to get things to the 2nd floor. So yes, they take up valuable space.
3. Last time I checked it would be 4 pads but that's fine they fit just fine in the trash.

 

I suppose I should say 'you're welcome', but that may come off as sarcasm.

Transaction threads, whether its free or any monetary amount is to be placed in the classified ads. I've moved several over the last few weeks, I'm not picking on you specifically. If you want to give something away, I suggest contacting a member directly or follow up in their threads that deals with the x-type's brake pads.

Its becoming more popular to post 'for sale' parts, and entire cars in the related section. My recommendation is if you don't think the classified area isn't 'viewed' enough, then don't blame the forum or moderators, its the members who don't subscribe or browse that section. Don't take it out on us.

At least the classified threads show up on this forum in the New Posts as it gets replied to or posted. Other forums don't even allow them to be displayed up there.
