Was a couple of posts looking for some Asteroid wheels
Those wheels came standard on the 01 to 03 XJR
98 to 2000 had Penta as well than the 02/03 XJ8 Sport
Anyhow, I have a set ( 5 wheels ) that i removed years ago from my 01 XJR when I went to Milan/Brembo
I don't really want to deal with shipping but willing to drive around 100 miles from Fresno (central CA) to meet/deliver
$600 for the full set in like new condition

 

How do they look now, especially the edge of the wheels, which is where most damage takes place (against the curb, that is).

Is the chrome pitted or fading?
Any chance for a couple of pics?

They are not chrome. they never came chromed from the factory. They are silver.
As the title said, "like new condition" meaning no dents, rashes, etc

I have the chrome ones on my XJR and at least two now have scratches at the edges and this is considering that two of them are only 4 years old. I think that, even when not chromed, this is really a great buy for that entire set at that price. It's tempting, but it would be about $200 each to have them chromed.

On another subject, Paso Robles, huh, the land of the explosion of California Syrah's new culture, back in the 80's and '90's, and loving it.
