Default NEW full adjustable COILOVER KIT Bilstein-Eibach. Special Discount for Jaguar Forums

hi at all,
the technical center BILSTEIN Italy (NTP - Eibach Bilstein Italia | Home ) has developed for me a Full Adjustable Road & Track suspension kit with 10 settings for the damper. Using ERS Eibach springs and Bilstein dampers B16 PSS10.
I have this kit from few months and I must say that it is extremely quiet, it has a great grip and maintains optimum comfort.
The adjustments on the front shocks are inside the bonnet, very easy.
The adjustment of the rear shock absorbers ( that have the 40mm rod! ) are in the lower part, it is not necessary to lift the car to adjust, just lie down and with two fingers to rotate the ferrule that remains inside the old support for the spring .
Anyone want this kit, please send an email to: sale@ntp.it
the price is 3795 Euro + VAT but I've got a special 15% discount for all my friends and fans XK8 / XKR 1996-2006

If you are interested in even the discount, when you send the order, write MANNI CONFIGURATION and sends the email also to me for information ( Cc.) luca.manni.plc@gmail.com and will automatically discount!

Jaguar | NTP - Eibach Bilstein Italia

( i think that VAT only applies in the EU. Anyone outside EU does not pay VAT but not shure about it )

Luca,

Beautiful piece of engineering.

I've edited a typo in your thread title and repaired the contact link in post #3

That's $4K Euro's, That's $4484 USD at today's exchange rate. plus shipping. While I'm sure this is an excellent package and hat's off to deuce2000 for setting this up it's a little pricey for my blood!

Luca - excellent - hopefully you have better luck with this set up compared to the Ohlins

For daily driving, price may seem excessive but for those who track their Xk's not so much and about $1K less than the Spires and Ohlin alternatives.

OMG... The Ohlins factory is closed for me forever!
unprofessional behavior by all of this factory . NTP Biltein Italy are a very professional team, and i had doing any miles before to show you this product.
But i'm really happy now. I have a very racing car ( but you must consider that i have also Powerflex Black Series kit, upgrated front and rear anti sway bars, lsd diff, 15 mm spacers )

Default Costly

Nice kit but they are more than I paid for the car! Got anything for less than a grand?

you can only change the springs and put them tougher and low. spend little and .. little enjoy! here I did make an uncompromising kit that would offer maximum performance. Think, I also torsion bars increased, Powerflex Black Series rubbers kits, the limited slip differential ... you bought 2 cars only with these things!

Wow this is amazing... and worth 30% of my grad school tuition.

Maybe some day in the next 4 years.

The only thing I can come up with is, REALLY! That price is ridiculous and to think anyone in their right mind would spend that is even more ridiculous.

This is a joke right? I’m pretty sure some people who have the disposable income and want coilovers would consider it.

On the subject, I wish to keep my car until the wheels fall off because of sentimental value. If I ever move to the states after graduating, because of the economical disaster that is Puerto Rico, I will ship the car over and when the time comes I would gladly get these coilovers.

Deuce, does the seller make discounts for group buys? The price is already steep enough, but the product is an attractive proposition. Do you already have these installed? How does the ride quality and handling compare in a setting meant for street use?

obviously I installed this kit as NTP-Bilstein ITALIA did it for me.
contact the seller directly for more information. WARNING: I had to send my original top-mount (front and rear) for the correct calibration!

the suspensions are for sporty road use and I have combined them with the "Black Series" rubber kit from Powerflex and with new more big torsion bars. with the series components I do not know exactly how it will behave.
certainly for group purchases I guess the discount will be greater.
say that i have reported the kit (Luca Manni Grosseto ITALY).
to have better access to the rear shock absorber adjustment, I cut part of the spring housing in the rear suspension arm as it will no longer serve. You should still be able to adjust the shock absorbers leaving everything as it is but access is more inconvenient

Deuce, very nice!

Can these be adapted to fit the X308?
I know the rears are physically compatible but the lower end of the front dampers - well the XKR has a different damper seat to the X308.

Does the 15% discount still apply?

Thank you!

I've so far had zero luck getting custom stuff for the X308.

Default Not sure the XK8 is a track car

Well sorted after market modifications are fine, but the XK8 was designed as a Grand Tourer not a track car.

Price is very high for suspension especially considering other track modifications you’ll need to make to the XK8 if you really want to see what it can do at the limit.

David, Deuce obviously has the funds and more importantly the passion and drive.

The X100 fundamentally isn't a bad place to start from as a sportier car:

The bodys torsional rigidity is 16,000 Nm/deg, this is higher than a Porsche 993 (13,800) and a McLaren F1. It weighs about 1715 kgs which isn't a lot heavier than an E46 M3 (at 1690 kgs) and its dynamic index and K^2/(a*b) value are quite favourable for a sporty cruiser. The dynamic index is a function of the yaw inertia which is pretty good too with only 51% of its weight over the front wheels.

All it needs is stiffer bushing, decent dampers, perhaps a manual gear box , a torsen LSD and steering with more feedback.

Its a very tempting project, the only reason I haven't pursued it is because I already own an Aston Martin Vantage.

Is that really the case? The torsional rigidity that high? Surely this only applies to the coupes.

Yes, it applies to the coupes.
Not sure I would even bother trying to make a convertible handle.
