Default Ceramic Brake pad set- EBC red

I have the factory Brembos on my 2005 XKR (X100). Will these fit?

I got a mailer from my local Jag dealer. It states, and I quote: "Ceramic brake pads are not suitable for supercharged vehicles. Fields Jaguar Waukesha can advise you on which brake pads are the best option for your Jaguar."

What do you think about that?

So you sold the XKR, what did you replace it with? And what prompted you to sell? Seems like just a few months ago when Ralph and I met you for coffee right after you picked it up. Good luck,
Ted

I've moved your advertising thread from XK/XKR model forum.

Advertising in the model forums usually gets a 7 Day Ban. I've cut you some slack.

Default Why say Ceramic brakes are not suitable for supercharged cars?

Thanks, Cee Jay, and maybe that's true but they do excellent work and have a lot of expertise. That is why this statement on their expensive 4-color mailer perked my interest. I cannot think of a reason why what they say is true. I wanted to ask the Forum before I called them, to make sure I have not been kept in the dark on this one.
