The time has come. After 4 years of owning my 1993 XJ6 it has been sold a couple months ago. Now I'm in the hunt for the Jag I've always wanted...a 1996 or 1997 XJR6 BLACK or BRG. MUST have the tan luxury looking interior or that off white looking interior for the black XJR. Rear heated seat option is what I'm definitely looking for as well. No black interiors please. Less than 90K miles. I have the money right now and winter is coming to a close in the North East so I want to start searching right now! Thanks to all who reply in advance!

 

I dont like first model year of any make, model, or redesign. Call me crazy I know...haha. It's just my personal opinion. Most of the later XJR6's were more common to see the rear heated seat option too and I like the idea of having the 2nd last or last year of production!

My friend and I took an hour ride somewhere yesterday and I was the passenger. The whole time I was looking out the window on the highway I was trying to picture if a Black or BRG XJR would look better rolling down the street. Yes, I know, there is probably something wrong with me! = )

 

Yea, black interior is just not for me. I need a more luxury feeling or at least some contrast! And yes you called me on that one. I just sold that old AWD BMW I bought last summer. It seriously kills me to let it go and the guy is coming to get it this weekend, but it will make purchasing the XJR much easier especially since I want to do a few upgrades to it already. Looks like I'll be going back to a cheaper Jeep again! Although, I am graduating this May with my Bachelors in Marketing so maybe I'll get a REAL job instead of the grocery store I work at now and I'll have a real income to have two nice cars. Wishful thinking at this point. Finding a job is first priority!
