I would like to buy a xjs in reasonable condition...black would be my 1st choice, would like a coupe...can't spend more than about $3200....appreciate any input

 

I have an 89, red, XJS with 32K original miles. I am a Mercedes guy. I couldn't pass up this car when I came across it. I spent the last two years in Afghanistan, had to get rid of a lot of project cars, couldn't part with the Jag at that time. I have it stored in a semi trailer at this time. (I live in the New Orleans area) There must have been some body damage at one time because the left rear quarter paint looks a little different than the rest of the car......if you look close. There is spot on the roof, near that back, that has problem with the paint. The fuel went bad, I drained the tank and pumped new fuel forward........at this time it isn't starting. I didn't spend too much time on it, I had to get back overseas at the time. There was never a starting problem before the fuel problem. Tires are good. I installed a new ski slope. I'll get some photos if you are interested.

I've got a 1994 XJS convertible in daily driver condition. It has 150,014 miles. The top raises and lowers but it has some tears and it will need to be replaced. Engine and transmission are perfect. I took out the orignal radio and installed a new pioneer deck. Let me know if you're interested. Asking $2,000
