Hi there.I've been looking for answers to my riddle.
My sunroof works fine opening and closing and tilting 100%.
When I switch the car off and open the door,the sunroof opens up by itself.
I've tried the methods thjat have been suggested on this forum but to no avail.
Might there be somebody out there that has had the same thing happening to them?

Not sure but the first thing I would do is unhook the battery and see if that will reset it.

+1 on the reset. If that doesn't work, switch off the interior lights and then try. You may have a wiring fault that activates the roof when the door is open.

 

Thank you for your response.Today I tried doing something else.
I closed the roof,left the ignition on,opened driver window,got out and closed the door,switched off and removed keys,closed the window via key in door lock and it stayed closed
After about 10 minutes when I came back to the car, the roof was open again.
I'm now thinking that the sunroof module sounds like it's getting a spike some way or the other
I'm thinking of replaceing complete sunroof.£40.00
