Default Drivers seat module S-Type 3.0 2000 RESOLVED

I have recently replaced the drivers seat module with a used one i got from ebay the orginal was just clicking .But to my distress the replacement one is to I have disconected all the wireing from motors etc tested switch pack with a known working one tryed with just main pluged in still nothing only this dam click any ideas anyone

above thread relates to jag s type 3.0 year 2000

You may need to go to the dealer. Does the new module need to be programmed for your car?

As far as i am aware no it should work on manual operation i-e manual switch would only need programing for seat memory functions not just click as is currently the problem ?

Sorted chaffed wire under seat blown fuse

It was fixed a few days after this post just not had a chance to update i took seat apart saw the wire chaffed checked fuse could see nothing so i cheated got a auto sparky out fixed in 30 mins he even put the seat back together for me oh and only cost me £40.00
