but sadly with time this era of jag and without comprehensive history they have slipped back into this realm.
if not an extremely DIY capable owner's car .
and if thats USD $6500 then it's a little too pricy .
plus it looks terrible without the boot/trunk lip .for me there is cost no#1 for this car .
Humm..Taking on a different breed of cat here. Rick..I know you have the skills to get this car back on the road.
The mileage is the key and maintenance records. I think the car is awfully good looking but I wouldn't take it on for any more than $2500 with that mileage. Datsports, they sell the lip for about a hundred bucks plus you have to paint it.
Haha may be years ago I was enthralled with the infamous STR. I just read this article and thought I would share with my fellow forum brothers.
Funny, that is what i paid for my 06 str in april 2017..same miles....immaculate inside and out.....i have spent another 2000.00, including tires, doing my own work....plus i have reciepts from prevoius owner for about 5000.00 parts and labor....mostly a complete a/c rebuild....now i am immaculate mechanically also....like others have said, that price is fair dependant on verified repair work....but, i also know i am never selling mine unless someone goes crazy and says name your price
