Default 03 STR crankcase breather hose

Folks,

I am trying to find a plastic breather line that runs from the driver side
crankcase and connects to the throttle body from the rear side. Having
trouble at the dealership locating the right part. The sent me the correct
hose that ran from the passenger side crankcase, just having trouble
on the driver side.

The hose is a light plastic and has a connector on each end.

Thanks.

Rob

I wish I knew it, but I know that is what was causing a lean condition on my STR

We just couldn't get the connector at the throttle body to detach. Our local dealer parts guy will hopefully have the correct hose re-ordered and delivered
today.

It was a pain and a half to get it off (esp on the car). I ended up using needle nose vise grips to get it to come off.

eh im confused,

the PCV from the LH/driver side, goes to the inlet tube, relatively short,

the PCV from the RH/passenger side, goes to the back of the throttlebody, pretty long, goes over the blower,

I managed to crack the one going from RH to throttlebody really good recently when taking everything apart to do the pulley install,

I think it's also causing my occasional P0170/0174 lean code/restricted performance on hot starts...

anyhow, I just ordered a replacement one, hasn't arrived yet, but here's the part number,

AJ8-8039

$33.65
