'06 S-Type R Brake Calipers
Hello,
I have a '06 S-Type R. I have the Jaguar style calipers. Will the Brembo calipers off an '03-'05 STR work on my '06. I like the looks of the Brembo caliper.

I think you need to change quite a lot of parts to safely replace the Jaguar (ATE) setup with the earlier Brembos (including the brake servo and suspension uprights, the Brembo setup also uses a separate set of small rear calipers for the parking brake ?)
The Brembos look pretty but in my experience I would stick with the ATE brakes.
My 2006 STR has the ATE calipers, my 2004 XJR has the Brembo setup (both using EBC Yellowstuff pads and fluid changed / bled properly)
The ATE's wipe the floor with the Brembos in terms of pedal feel and stopping power.
Jaguar swapped from the Brembo calipers for this reason and because of the Brembo setups tendency to warp discs if used heavily.
I have sold Jaguars since 2002, so hopefully have a bit of insight ?
