Default 2000 Jaguar S-type Parts Question?

Hey there, I am currently looking to buy a 2000 Jaguar S-TYPE Luxury Sedan, However I don't have much experience with Jaguars and one question I have is how hard would it be to get parts in Saskatchewan, Canada? Would I be waiting on parts if needed in the future?

it depends, a few parts are interchangeable with other ford models and the Lincoln ls.

the are also a lot of parts available from after market suppliers.

it all depends on he part, but even here in the uk you sometimes have problems getting a certain part and have to wait a few days.

normal service items shouldn't be a problem i would think, but someone local will know for sure

It might be best to also post your question on the Canada board of this forum. We have lots of knowledgeable Canadians who can help you out. Here's a link to that board...

Then there's me.

There's no shortage/obsolescence of any parts that I'm aware of, but take into account the distance to a dealer to get them.

FIND A JAGUAR DEALER

On-line ordering is the alternative, but if FedEx or UPS is used shipping can get very expensive.

Just a suggestion but I would look for a 2003 and up S Type.

There really is a world of difference between them even though the cars look very much the same.

Whatever you get, at least basic DIY like oil changes will save you money.
