Default 2000 s type questions

:icon_bricks 2000 s type 3.0 does this have plastic tensioners. I can see the timing chain is steel. Just wondering if I need to change out. has 70000 k. Just go the s and checking some things out. check engine lite on and sometimes flashes 20 ? times or so. I know cly 4 and 5 has codes 304 and 305 and expecting to change all plugs and coils.rpms move a bit at ilde and nuetral but put in drive and runs poorly, hope its just the two plugs and coils and will change all. Battery is new and a Die Hard.May have to change to oem. Thanks Just wanted to start on this new forum for me.

The 3.0 tensioners don't have a problem only the 4.0 so no worries.

If you keep driving with the check engine light flashing plan to buy new catalytic converters.

Do some searches as the 6 cylinder has a list of known problems that you should plan to fix all at once. This will require removing the intake and you really only want to that once if possible. The good thing is all of them are minor and not too expensive.

Get the car fixed. It's cheaper in the long run!

Forget the OEM battery, go with Interstate.
