I have this annoying rattle under my Stype (especially on bumpy streets)and I have checked all the suspension parts and changed one of the stabalizer bars as it had some give to it but it appears that is not the rattle. The mechanic checked everything and nothing appears loose. We thought it might have been the heat shield but that was not it either.
Has anyone had a similar issue and figured it out?

Unhook both your front sway bar end links. Now drive around and see if the noise is better or not.

Very common problem is the front sway bar bushings.
