I just spotted an additional full set of front & rear Brembo calipers for the 2003-2005 S Type R on eBay for the ridiculously low price of $390 incl. shipping at buy it now !!! If your thinking about upgrading the brakes on your non-R 4.2 S Type this is as cheap as I think you'll ever find them even if you have to swing for rebuild kits.

Just be careful as they are missing the emergency brake calipers and they will not be easy to find. You also need the rotors but they are a wear item anyway.

Finally I think the spindles are STR only? I know the rears are because of the separate emergency brake calipers require more mounting holes.

The STR rear hub carriers are very hard to come by. They mount both the rear brembo caliper and parking brake caliper. It took me several month of searching before I was able to pick up a set. Plus I paid a lot for them.

 

They are still listed from his link. Good price just be aware it won't be a straight bolt on swap.
