2003 s-type 3.0 rear strut replacement

Hello, I will be replacing all 4 struts on our Jaguar today. The front look straight forward. I have a question on replacing the rears. I know on most cars the top mounting bolts are accessible inside the trunk but I am not sure without removing the trunk liner panels, can anyone confirm the location of the top mounting bolts. Any tips on doing this job would be appreciated as well. Thanks

Take the two side trunk panel carpets out and everything is right there. Nothing Crazy.

Cross-Reference Part Numbers - 3.0 S-Type Sport Struts ?

Hi guys,

I have looked around the forums a bit for the Bilstein part #'s for the 2005 S-Types with standard and sport suspension, but have only come across part #'s for STRs.

Even though I do not have the sport suspension, my mechanic recommended the # XR851788 Rear Shock Absorbers. Does anyone have correct the Bilstein part #'s for the sport S-Type 3.0 struts (front and rear)?
