Hey guys. I'm seriously considering buying a 2003 S-type (manual transmission) with 75K miles. I did some reading here and plan to have the car thoroughly inspected but please could you give me an idea about what the problem issues are on this model (other than transmission I guess), and what I need to look for. I presently have an XJ8 VdP (1998) and am very familiar with all the issues that go along with this model. Many thanks in advance!
P.S. I did use the search function, but am interested in a quick comprehensive list of the major issues with this year and model

Come on folks, 72 views and no quick notes on common issues for the S-type jaguar, 2003....please help me out. I've gone through old threads and see a lot about transmission problems, but I'd really appreciate some kind input on other things I need to watch out for if I buy this car.
