2005 S Type R Tail Light Question

I have an 05 R, just wondering if a regular 05+ S Type Tail Light would fit. Called the local dealer, they kept telling me I need one with a tinted bezel while I was trying to tell them the tinted bezel was before the 05 re-design. Wanted to see if maybe I missed something. Thanks.

I have replaced a tail light on my 2005 STR. What your missing is the "R" has a different tail light compared to the regular S Type. Will it fit? Yes. Will it match the other side? No but the difference is small and it won't look too weird. You decide. I wanted my car to be correct so I got a new one for an STR.

I replaced my passenger side tail light after I stupidly broke it by hitting it with my computer case as I swung it out of a fully loaded trunk.

One other strange thing to mention. I found people were trying to sell me used tail lights at a price higher than a new one from Jaguar costs!!

Passenger side 2005 STR tail light XR851884. List $231. I paid $200.
